And I know that it’s been waaaayyyy too long since I’ve blogged! I say this every year but 2016 was crazy guys.
Between having a baby, building a house & running a business I’ve been just a little busy.
Seriously though I have a ton of catching up to do meaning you’re going to see a lot of 2016 goodness…and there’s a lot of it!

But before we go back I want to share with you my most recent photo shoot of the growing Sikes Family.
I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding back in 2014 & I was excited when they asked me to take maternity photos!
When we planned the session Brooke was hoping for snow and sun.
This winter in Western New York has been unpredictable so it wasn’t looking promising.
But as you can see we got lucky…minus the fact that it was literally only 9 degrees that day!
Honestly you’d never know because these two killed it!
And isn’t she the most beautiful pregnant lady!! <3

I’m so thankful that I got to share & document this special time for you.
You two are going to be amazing parents & your baby boy will be here before you know it!

This time last year we were planning everyone’s senior photos
and now they are savoring their last days of high school.
It’s hard to believe how fast this past year has gone by
and that you’ll all be graduating next week!
I wanted to showcase the 2016 seniors that I had the privilege of
getting to know and photograph…so here they are!

I want you to know that I feel so honored to know you guys and to have worked with each of you.
I wish you all the best and have a blast on this next part of life!
Go get ’em Class of 2016!

Steve & Betsy recently got engaged and are planning their wedding for next summer.
I also found out that they are both Brockport employees….GO BROCKPORT!
They are great together…go ahead, see for yourselves!

So when Steve decided to pop the question he wanted to do something meaningful
and that’s where Digger came in!
Betsy got Digger as a pup and loves this sweet dog.
It was such a great idea to incorporate her Steve!

You two, I honestly can’t wait for your wedding!
I had so much fun getting to know you and
there’s no doubt how much you love each other.
So here’s to a great year of planning until you become Mr & Mrs!

show off some of the amazing photos that my extremely talented sister-in-law Julia took!

Soooooooo if you didn’t know yet we’re having a baby!!!
We are due in just a few short weeks and we couldn’t be more excited!
We decided to wait to find out what our sweet baby will be and keep the names a secret too!

I will be taking a maternity leave until the end of August to spend time getting to know
our baby and get used to being a new Momma.
I will still be booking for the fall so feel free to get in touch to set up a session!

Thanks for letting me share a little bit of my life with you guys
and we are so thankful and blessed to begin this new journey!
And a huge thank you again to Julia, we love you!

  • Marlene Preston - I.’m so happy for you and your husband. The pictures are great! You look so happy. I’m off for a few more weeks for surgery. It sounds like I will miss you. Looking forward to seeing some baby pictures.ReplyCancel

This is my little friend Sydney.
She’s one of the sweetest little ladies, especially with those pigtails!
I’ve been so lucky to be taking photos of her since she was just a tiny newborn.
Here’s a peak at what it looks like to be two.

Apparently it’s not always as easy as it looks…

And this was the PRICELESS smile she gave us!
A perfect family photo!

And we of course had to end the session outside with daffodils.
Thank you Masters Family for always letting me in on your lives.
You have such a wonderful family and I love being able to watch her grow!
